Shawn earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law in 2022 and was called to the bar in 2023.
He began his legal career in the litigation group of a boutique corporate law firm, where he appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Ontario Small Claims Court. His transition to criminal defence reflects his commitment to advocating for individuals and challenging the state in pursuit of justice.
Shawn takes pride in supporting clients during difficult times and ensuring the justice system is held accountable. Prior to law, he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Western University and completed Level I of the Chartered Financial Analyst program.
