Imani obtained her Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2024, after completing her undergraduate studies at Dalhousie University, where she majored in History with minors in English and Contemporary Studies. A former varsity swimmer, she competed in the Olympic Trials and the World Championships.
Imani’s passion for criminal law grew through human rights coursework and hands-on experience in clinics and volunteer organizations. She articulated at a non-profit dedicated to supporting racialized and young people in conflict with the law, which strengthened her commitment to equitable justice.
As a lawyer, Imani is dedicated to advancing access to justice, upholding clients’ rights, and giving a voice to the marginalized within the justice system.
